  • To help determine if an ADHD assessment might be suitable for you, we recommend that you start by completing the ADHD Self-Report Scale. By answering this, you’ll be able to gauge whether pursuing a formal ADHD assessment is the right path for you. This initial step will provide both you and our team with valuable insights into your experiences and potential symptoms of ADHD.
  • At ADHD Expertise, we are committed to offering a high-quality and robust service, and this self-report scale is the first step in exploring whether ADHD could be an answer to some of the challenges you’re facing. We want to ensure that you feel supported throughout the process and that we’re providing you with the most suitable guidance moving forward.
  • The AQ-10 Self-Assessment is a widely used screening tool designed to help determine if you may be on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) scale. This tool, recommended by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE), is the standard starting point for any autism assessment. By answering the 10 questions in this scale, you can get an indication of whether further assessment for ASD might be beneficial.
  • At ADHD Expertise, if you believe you might be impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder, completing the AQ-10 is an important first step. If the results suggest that an autism assessment is appropriate, we follow up with the Autism Disorder Observation Scale Version 2 (ADOS-2). This tool is regarded as the “gold standard” for autism assessment, as recommended by NICE, ensuring a thorough and accurate evaluation of your needs.
  • Dyslexia is more than just difficulty with letters; it affects areas such as sounds, phonetics, and memory. If you think dyslexia might be impacting you or your child, completing our Dyslexia Checklist is a great first step in exploring whether an assessment is right for you. This free checklist helps identify key areas of difficulty related to dyslexia.
  • At ADHD Expertise, we only use the latest tools for assessment, including the new Test of Dyslexia (TOD), which was recently recognised by the SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC) in June 2024. The TOD provides a comprehensive and accurate assessment to ensure you receive the right diagnosis and support.
  • With dyslexia affecting 1 in 10 people, understanding and addressing it is crucial. Download our free Dyslexia Checklist now and contact us to arrange an assessment. Taking this step can lead to the correct help and support that you or your child deserves.
